Hello, my name is Felicia, but you can call me Cia for short (either work). I am a Behavior Health Professional working here at CATT Associates. I recently graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelors's in Psychology, and I plan to pursue my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy in the near future. I am passionate about mental health, helping others, and spreading knowledge. I am also a Marine Corps veteran, and in my free time, I love staying physically fit, spending time with my dog, traveling, enjoying the sun, and learning.

I have a Bachelor's in Sociology with a minor in Studio Art from Skidmore College, and will be attending the University of Maine at Farmington’s Master's program in Counseling Psychology with an Emphasis in Creative Arts. I have always integrated the arts into my work with children, as I believe it is a means through which healing and transformation can take place in unique and empowering ways. I love spending time outdoors connecting to the healing power of nature and animals, especially with my dog, Orange. My name is May Hohman, and I am the Section 28 Program Director here at Counseling and Trauma Therapy Associates! Through my years of BHP work, both in Section 28 and 65, I have come to see that we are doing important work that benefits our clients and the community. Often, BHPs are the bridge connecting clients with other people in their lives, their greater community, and their own inner world. However, BHP work can take on many forms, all valid and beneficial, and it's my honor to support our Section 28 Program as the Director!


Currently, I have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology/Women and Gender studies from the University of Southern Maine, which included core material regarding childhood development, social work, and trauma. I am looking forward to going back to school to get a Masters in Social Work. When I'm not working, you can find me being outside, dancing, yoga, reading, and hanging out with the people l love.

I am currently studying Liberal Studies at York County Community College, and I have been working with adults in a residential setting for the past year. I enjoyed working with older folks, but being a role-model and supporting those younger than me is just as fulfilling. I value creativity, honesty, kindness, and having an open mind. I strive to learn more about myself and the world so I can understand and help others more empathetically, and I make an effort to be a better person every day. Hello, my name is Zainab, but most people call me Z or Zay. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Maine. My goal is to become a therapist soon, which is why I am committed to starting a Master's program in Social Work this Fall at the University of New England. My goal is to do therapy for a few years with families and children before I go for my Doctorate's and hopefully open my own private practice. I love learning just as much as I love teaching because there is always more knowledge to gain and more experience to go through. I am more than thrilled to meet more families to work with! Howdy All! My name is Sarah Morton and I have been a BHP for four different families since 2013. I kind of stumbled onto being a BHP when I graduated from USM with a degree in Social Work and didn’t know what I wanted to do. I have stuck with it since. Not only am I a BHP I am also a Special Ed Tech III in Saco Schools full-time. I love the challenges I face ( the good, the bad, easy and hard) with the families that I have had
the opportunity to watch grow and thrive. I have learned SO much from the kiddos who always have lots to give and I truly believe being a BHP has shaped a part of who I am today. Outside of work I am learning to do more self care. I love to play soccer, play the piano (and learn other instruments), be by the ocean and spend time with friends and family. Hello all, my name is Keren. I am so glad to be a part of CATT. I am originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo; I have been around different people/culture/places, and this has built my ability to easily connect with people. I want to use this ability to help people both personally and professionally. I am currently in school getting my Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies (focus in Humanities and Social Sciences) and I am planning on starting a graduate program in Marriage and Family Therapy as soon as I graduate. My final goal is to become a therapist and a Christian counselor. In this season of my life, I am finding great joy/fulfilment working with the youth both here at CATT and at my local church as the youth pastor. I love working with people. I love being able to help people live a life they enjoy. I believe in meeting people where they are and walking alongside them to reach their goals and/or to set new goals with them.

Kate has her BFA in Creative Writing and Minor in English from University of Maine at
Farmington. She is also a certified Maine Teaching Artist since 2019. Kate is currently enrolled at University of New England receiving her Master’s in Social Work, expected graduation is May 2024. Kate is a proud co-business owner of Unwritten Roads since 2015. Unwritten Roads is a mobile creative writing/ filmmaking program for youth K-12 serving the Portland area. For the past few years, Kate has taught programs in various schools and community programs all over Maine. Kate is a firm believer in various artistic forms of self-expression. Kate supports strengths-based approaches and believes one can learn a lot from their clients. Kate believes meeting clients’ needs where they are at and without judgment. Kate enjoys getting to know her clients and families and believes there is a creative and fun approach to almost any type of learning and communication. When Kate is not studying or working with clients, she is often spending time with her family and her senior dog. You can also find Kate outside during any weather birding, running, hiking, skiing or snowshoeing. When Kate is not doing that, she is likely writing, drawing or collaging.

Hello everyone! I am Satya, and am currently completing my last year of college. For more than two years I have been a writing tutor at my college where I learned the importance of good communication, building students’ confidence, and adapting to a variety of needs. I have experience working with children specifically in a theatre setting, which has given me insight into how important nurturing confidence and expression is for youth. I am passionate about empowering children through creativity, along with cultivating strong bonds with families. Creativity plays an important part in my life because I love painting, drawing, sewing, and photography. Also, I spend my time going on runs, cooking, and listening to podcasts.
